Triumph Over His inner Peace!

Someone is bored at home,
and decides to stir up a fight;
He finger-paints a poem
with words in red, blue, and white;
There's lettuce stuck in his teeth,
and a friend wincing with a broken arm;
A crowd is rallying for world peace,
and some girls chewing bubble gum;
after he's finished with his fearsome war,
rages give in from inside,
then he sails his boat to explore,
with his eyes red and open wide.

Sonnet Is Like milk With Good Health Traits

For a sonnet, we must write fourteen lines, well
after this line, only a dozen to dwell,
poetry is a problem to work on,
keys can be sought via walks along
the shaded sidewalks, in your neighborhood,
rhymes are born from your word bank,
Inspirations hang low
when you mind is under love's glow,
and emotions drive your pen to a better mood.
okay, five more lines including this one,
writing expels fears,
Poetry is a way of obtaining happiness.
Now, turn on the music,
let me drink some tea while feeling optimistic.

I Strove With None By Walter Savage Landor

I strove with none, for none was worthy of my strife,
Nature I loved, and next to Nature Art,
I warmed both hands before the fire of life,
It sinks, and I'm ready to depart.
